Genesis: T3's First Pilot Program at Community 729
Teens Thriving Together (T3) is thrilled to announce the launch of Genesis, our first pilot program hosted at Community 729. This groundbreaking initiative, set to begin on September 3, 2024, marks the beginning of our journey to empower young adults through holistic healing practices and connection with nature.
We knew that to create a truly impactful program, we needed to design an experience that would resonate with young adults today and inspire them well into the future. So we gathered our team of practitioners, rolled out our yoga mats, and got to work.
Program Overview and Continuous Improvement
Genesis is designed as a 90-minute session that introduces young adults to three powerful healing methods: Tai Chi, Grounding, and Breath-work. Each session is carefully crafted to provide a balanced and immersive experience, guided by our experienced practitioners and a dedicated host.
At T3, we are committed to constant improvement and the incorporation of scientifically-backed methods. To ensure the effectiveness of our program, we have implemented a comprehensive survey system for both participants and practitioners. Here's how we gather and utilize feedback:
-
Pre-session surveys:

Post-session surveys:

Analysis and improvement: Our team regularly reviews all feedback to enhance the program.
This process represents our dedication to gathering comprehensive feedback and using it to enhance our programs. We use Typeform for detailed, private surveys and X (formerly Twitter) for quick, public engagement and sentiment analysis.
For Participants
- Pre-Session Survey: Includes the WHO-5 Well-Being Index, GAD-7 anxiety assessment, and questions about expectations and goals.
- Post-Session Survey: Re-administers the WHO-5 and GAD-7, along with a Session Rating Scale, Brief Assessment of Resilience and Coping (BARC-10), and qualitative feedback.
For Practitioners
- Pre-Session Survey: Gathers input on program expectations, goals, and session planning.
- Post-Session Survey: Assesses session effectiveness, therapeutic alliance, and observations of participant engagement.
Community Engagement
We also use X for quick polls and sentiment analysis, engaging both participants and the broader community to gauge the overall impact of our program.
By collecting and analyzing this data, we can continually refine our approach, ensuring that Genesis remains a powerful tool for young adult well-being and community strength. Our commitment to this scientific approach allows us to adapt to the evolving needs of our participants and stay at the forefront of youth wellness practices.
Our Healing Methods
1. Tai Chi
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese practice that combines slow, graceful movements with meditation and deep breathing. This gentle form of exercise can help young adults improve balance, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being.
2. Grounding
Grounding techniques help young adults connect with the present moment and the earth beneath them. These practices can alleviate anxiety, improve focus, and foster a sense of stability in daily life.
3. Breath-work
Breath-work involves conscious control of breathing patterns to influence physical, mental, and emotional states. Our breath-work sessions will teach young adults powerful techniques to manage stress, boost energy, and promote relaxation.
Guided Experience
To ensure a seamless and enriching experience, each Genesis session is facilitated by a knowledgeable host. This guide will help participants navigate through the different practices, answer questions, and create a supportive atmosphere for exploration and growth.
